ASTARTA’s Elevators have Received more than 1MT of Grains in 2021/22 MY
In the 2021/22 marketing year, as of December, 8, ASTARTA’s elevators have already received more than 1mt of grains for storage, including 326kt of early grains and 726kt of late crops. That is 25% more than last year.
Due to the high-tech route silos, digitalisation, own modern fleet of 200 rail cars and shunting locomotive, the average turnover of ASTARTA’s elevator complexes reached c. 2.
Through intensive cooperation with Ukrainian agricultural producers, within the framework of the Loyalty Programme, the share of products purchased from third parties is already 20%. It is a record for the Company.
The Company's silos are located in the Poltava (Yareskivsky, Lutovynivsky, Semenivsky, Skorokhodivsky silos), the Khmelnytsky (Viytovetsky, Krasylivsky silos) and the Vinnytsia (Khmilnytsky silo) regions.
These are seven high-tech route silos with a total simultaneous storage capacity of over 550kt of grain. The elevators work with grains — wheat, corn, barley, rye, buckwheat, oats, sorghum; oilseeds — rapeseed, sunflower and soybeans.
The certified laboratories that operate at each elevator perform grain quality determination.
