Astarta is pleased to announce the new appointment to company’s management team.

Mr.Yevhen Sadovy resigned from the position of the Director of Agricultural Processing of Astarta-Kyiv as of 25 January 2024.

Astarta expresses gratitude to Mr.Yevhen Sadovy for his cooperation and contribution to the business development as well as wishes him further success.

On 26 January 2024 Ihor Rylik was appointed the Director of Agricultural Processing of Astarta-Kyiv. He will be in charge of the sugar mills, grain elevators and the bioenergy plant.

Ihor Rylik graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry at the Dnipro State University. He completed a corporate MBA programme at the International Institute of Management (MIM-Kyiv). He is a sugar industry expert with 34 years of practical experience. He worked for Ukrainian and foreign food industry companies, including Astarta-Kyiv, from 2006 to 2014. He is also an expert in energy efficiency, having led large-scale energy-saving programmes at sugar mills and developing projects for the construction of bioethanol and oil extraction plants. He has worked on projects for the United Nations FAO and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
