Astarta has started harvesting early grain crops. Traditionally, the harvesting campaign began at the agricultural subsidiaries in the Poltava region.
“Despite a delayed start of spring planting campaign caused by adverse weather conditions, the harvest of early grain crops has commenced within the optimal timeframe. Our production teams have completed all the necessary preparations and are ready to make the most of every favourable harvesting day. The key priorities throughout the campaign remain harvest quality, minimising crop losses, ensuring the safety of our employees, and maintaining seamless coordination among all teams involved,” said Andriy Zahorulko, Director of Crop Production, Logistics and Mechanisation at Astarta.
The agricultural subsidiaries in Western Ukraine will join the harvesting campaign in the third ten-day period of July. Overall, Astarta plans to harvest winter wheat from 38kha and winter rapeseed from 14kha.
