Astarta’s agricultural subsidiaries started the 2024 planting season. Farmers in the Poltava region were the first to begin sowing sugar beet.
This year’s projected structure of the crop mix is as follows: sugar beet – 39kha, soybeans – 65kha, winter wheat – 49kha (including 3kha under winter wheat seeds), sunflowers – 18kha, winter rapeseeds – 12kha, corn – 6kha. The area under organic farming is 2kha.
