In 2022, the subsidiaries of Astarta paid UAH1.62bn in taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels.

The company paid UAH629m to the state budget. Local budgets of 62 territorial communities in the Poltava, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine received UAH991m in taxes from Astarta.

In 2022, we paid more taxes than in 2021. And I am sure that today many more companies in Ukraine are ready to pay taxes in full and even more, and their example is significant. But, in my opinion, the time has come when all Ukrainian businesses must become transparent and responsible. Everyone needs to make this, perhaps, difficult decision and get rid of the illusion that tax evasion gives any advantages. From my own experience, I can say that this way business is more sustainable and competitive, and this way it can help bring Ukraine’s victory closer,” – said Viktor Ivanchyk, CEO and majority shareholder of Astarta.

Astarta continues to implement social and humanitarian projects. In March 2022, the company and the charitable foundation “Believe in Yourself” created the humanitarian project “Common Help UA” and attracted dozens of international and Ukrainian corporate partners. Today, the estimated monetary value of the project’s charitable contributions and humanitarian aid exceeds UAH621m.
