We are announcing the mini-grants competition “BRAVE”. The project is organised thanks to the partnership of Ukrainian businesses: Raiffeisen Bank and Astarta-Kyiv. The implementation partners are the charitable foundations “Believe in Yourself” and “Light of Hope”.

If you have exciting business ideas or have already started your own business and need funds to scale it, this competition is for you. The project participants can be:

-micro-entrepreneurs officially registered in Ukraine (the Poltava, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions) and employ persons with disabilities, IDPs, military families, etc;
-internally displaced persons, families of military personnel, and persons from vulnerable groups in the Poltava, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions who do not yet have their businesses but have ambitions and desire to develop Ukrainian production.
The participants will receive express training on entrepreneurship in wartime, preparation of business plans and work with investors. After that, business projects will be defended. The authors of the best ideas will receive grants to purchase the necessary equipment.

The grant can be received in “Self-employment” or “Micro-entrepreneurship”.

The grant program in the category “Self-employment” is aimed at unemployed women and men aged 20-55 who have a business idea and are ready to implement it. Preference will be given to participants belonging to the following categories: internally displaced persons, families of military personnel, people with disabilities, and women victims of domestic and gender-based violence. The grant amount for the category “Self-employment” is up to UAH30k.

The grant program in the category “Micro-entrepreneurship” is aimed at women and men aged 20-55 years who have experience in entrepreneurial activity (at least three months before the announcement of the competition, have a registered individual entrepreneur, LLC), registered / re-registered in the territory controlled by Ukraine. Priority will be given to microenterprises (individual entrepreneurs, LLCs) that aim to create additional jobs for vulnerable categories of the population, particularly for internally displaced persons, families of military personnel, people with disabilities, and women victims of domestic and gender-based violence. The grant amount for the category “Microentrepreneurship” is up to UAH80k.

Applications for participation in the grant program must be submitted by 18:00 on November 8 by filling out the application form.
