Astarta continues to implement the latest technologies to digitalise and improve the efficiency of its agribusiness. Now, 44 Starlink mobile systems are operating in Astarta’s fields, and farmers have stable access to the Internet under any conditions.
“This year, our team was tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of the AgriChain digital platform – to establish reliable and fast Internet connectivity in remote areas and fields where traditional means of communication are unavailable or inefficient. The systems also need to be mobile. In this situation, the only effective solution, in our opinion, was the Starlink mobile system. Each set includes a terminal and a mobile power plant,” says Oleksandr Voynalovych, IT Director at Astarta. “Last week, we installed all 44 systems and have stable communication in the field regardless of weather conditions, geographical obstacles or power outages”.
The uninterrupted operation of all AgriChain digital applications will help increase the productivity and profitability of all Astarta’s business segments.
“The continuous exchange of data and the ability to constantly access up-to-date information will help us make more informed and faster decisions. As a result, we will manage resources and logistics more efficiently, reduce operating costs, provide more accurate analysis and forecasting, and avoid certain risks by responding faster to changing conditions,” says Natalia Bohacheva, CEO of AgriChain. ” It will also contribute to further developing our IT solutions and strengthen Astarta’s position as an innovative digital leader in the agricultural sector.”
