
Astarta was ranked second in the “Top 50 Exporters of the Country 2024” Food Production category.
The ranking united 50 companies that have significantly contributed to the development of domestic exports and the global awareness of the Made in Ukraine brand, supporting the country’s economy.
Forbes Ukraine rating was calculated based on requests from the most prominent Ukrainian companies about their export operations, using the ImportGenius customs database, production, and other industry statistics.
In 2024, Astarta supplied over 1.2 million tonnes of products to 53 countries. The primary consumers were the EU, the Middle East, and North Africa. Also, in 2024, Astarta exported almost 197kt of sugar, making it the leader among Ukrainian exporters in this category. The geography of sugar exports expanded: the new markets include Sri Lanka, Israel, Turkey, UAE, Montenegro, Denmark, and Mauritania.

We have maintained our positions in international markets and opened new prospects for the growth and expansion of the geography of supplies,” said Viacheslav Chuk, Commercial and Strategic Marketing Director of Astarta.
Astarta makes an important contribution to the sustainability of the Ukrainian economy by supporting the agricultural sector, strengthening Ukraine’s position in the global market, and opening new opportunities for domestic exports.
