ASTARTA put into operation integrated soybean processing project in Globyno (Poltava region) in early 2014. The installed crushing capacity is 700 tonnes of soybeans per day or c. 220 thousand tonnes annually. Annual production capacity is up to 160 thousand tonnes of feeding high-protein toasted meal, 40 thousand tonnes of soybean oil, and 9 thousand tonnes of granulated shell. The plant also includes silo with designed capacity of 42 thousand tonnes and storages for finished goods, the necessary engineering, road and rail communications.

The plant is an important element to execute ASTARTA’s strategy aimed at sustainable development, value chain extension and diversification of business.

Moreover the plant is successfully integrated into the production cycle of ASTARTA and has high level of self-sufficiency in raw materials.

The complex has equipment of leading manufacturers certified in accordance with international standards as well as water purification and air cleaning systems.

Production of high quality goods is one of ASTARTA’s top priorities. Soybean processing plant fully complies with this tenet. It has high quality control system to monitor all stages of production process from acceptance of soybean through production of finished products, as well as adherence to high environmental standards and requirements.

In the beginning of 2016 Globynsky soybean processing plant has successfully passed an integrated a comprehensive certification under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and FSSC 22000 certification scheme for food and feed products. In 2017 Globynsky soybean processing plant was certified according to ISO 50001 (energy management), and in 2018 was certified according to feed products safety GMP+B2.

Plant’s final goods - soybean meal, soybean hydrated oil and granulated soybean shell – have already gained high ranks among domestic and international producers of poultry, livestock and aquaculture products.

The plant has a positive contribution to the economic and social development of Poltava region and provide more than 200 jobs.
