At full capacity the silo will be able to receive up to 4.5kt of grain and load 54 railway cars per day. The daily productivity of dryers is 2.8kt. The newly built elevator silo will create more than 50 jobs.
“Since becoming a public company Astarta had invested more than $645m. But we do not stop there and continue to actively develop and intensify our investment activities. Last year, we launched a $50m project to introduce innovative in-depth soybean processing technology to Ukraine. In 2022 Astarta will continue to invest into the development of Ukraine's sustainable economy, including the development of modern grain infrastructure. The investments slated for the implementation of this project are c.$15m, - commented Victor Ivanchyk, the founder and the CEO of Astarta.
The Company's seven high-tech elevator complexes are located in the Poltava, Khmelnytsky and Vinnytsia regions of Ukraine.
In 2021 the total capacity of simultaneous storage at the Company's elevators increased by 12kt (the new silo was built at the Krasyliv elevator) and now amounts to 562kt.
The elevators work with grains — wheat, corn, barley, rye, buckwheat, oats, sorghum; oilseeds — rapeseed, sunflower and soybeans.
The certified laboratories that operate at each elevator perform grain quality determination.
